Sherman, Texas is a city of 40,000 plus residents situated in north Texas, approximately 40 miles north and a part of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. The Freeport Tax Exemption has been adopted by the City of Sherman, Grayson County, Grayson College and Sherman ISD (Quadruple Freeport) that eliminates property tax on inventory for qualifying goods shipped within and outside of the state within 175 days.
