Representatives from 12 Sherman industries gathered at Pecan Grove Park Saturday for the Sherman Economic Development Corp.’s Industry Appreciation Picnic.
Employees and their family members enjoyed free treats, games and prizes, with the big attraction being the first Sherman Industry Showdown Competition. Teams from eight local industries took part in a three-part competition that saw the squad from GlobiTech take home the big trophy.
