Inventory Tax Rates

The Freeport Tax Exemption has been adopted by the City of Sherman, Grayson County, Grayson College and Sherman ISD (Quadruple Freeport) that eliminates property tax on inventory for qualifying goods shipped within and outside of the state within 175 days.

Electricity – Retail sales of electricity are deregulated allowing customers to contract for service and rates that meet their usage profile.
